I love Mallory’s page! It is one of my favorite pages that I follow. Mallory’s posts really make sense to me and always validate my feelings. Sometimes I think I’m alone in thinking or feeling a certain way, but when I see Mallory’s posts or listen to her podcasts, I’m reminded that I’m really not alone. Most people struggle with the same things I do to some degree, and I don’t need to get down on myself! Needless to say, I’m so grateful for Mallory’s willingness to share her own learning and life experiences so that they will benefit others and myself!

My Story

The first time I had a panic attack, I was a missionary in Paraguay.  I was triggered by seemingly normal circumstances. I was overwhelmed, and freaking out.

When another missionary called the mission president, I was informed that I was experiencing a panic attack and that everything was fine.

Everything is fine? I was shocked. What I experienced felt far from fine.

I have since had dozens if not hundreds of panic attacks of varying intensity, and I havce learned that, well, it is fine.

The danger feels real. The thoughts are so convincing. But everything really is fine.

I want to help you understand that panic won’t hurt you.   You are going to be okay.   You are going to recover. You are not broken.

Follow along and I will teach you everything I can to try to help you.  I love you guys.  Stay Calm.
